Founder and Principal Designer
Sarah grew up roaming the aisles of antique stores and vintage thrift shops with her mother, on the hunt for hidden treasures and good deals. Inspired by this upbringing and driven by her lifelong passion for design, Sarah founded Aligned Design Interiors, a woman-owned and operated interior design and construction company. Proudly advocating for equality and inclusion in the industry, Sarah is comfortable in both high heels and a hard hat.
Sarah's early work at NPR, in the Peace Corps and with Architecture for Humanity taught her the value of service-oriented design. By knowing how to ask the right questions, Sarah possesses a distinctive talent for telling her clients' stories through design.
Her innate sense of style and spatial layout, coupled with creative vision, organized project management skills, and thoughtful communication are a recipe for success. She believes good design has a tangible effect on the lives of her clients and their families, often hearing how they love coming home. Above all, Sarah finds joy in making a difference in her clients' lives, recognizing that every home has a unique story waiting to be told.
